There will not be a self-park option in Amara’s parking lot due to limited space. For those able to park and walk, we suggest parking in the nearest paid lot located within a small shopping center on the east side of MLK close to Graham St. The cost is $5 plus taxes and fees for up to 10 hours of parking. There is also limited free parking within the neighborhood which can be accessed from Orcas St.
Amara will also have valet service available, free of charge. Cars will be parked on-site at Amara and nearby our offices. We will prioritize on-site valet parking for people with the greatest need. Please let us know during the registration process if you will need valet services and/or ADA accessibility.
Amara is also located a ½ mile from a light rail stop. If you would enjoy getting a few more steps in your day, we encourage you to consider taking public transportation.
