About this Event
The Inside Amara Series, hosted by Amara’s Ambassador Board, provides an opportunity to learn more about specific Amara programs, ask questions, and engage in conversation with program staff to learn more about our work.
This month, we’ll be joined by Amara’s Julie Hoffman, Community Coordinator for Pierce County Early Childhood Court. Early Childhood Court, formerly known as Best for Babies, is an innovative, court-based program in Pierce County designed to ensure that infants and toddlers entering foster care receive support and services to promote secure attachment, safety, well-being, and an environment that supports early brain development with the goal to reunify families. Amara first piloted this program in partnership with Pierce County Juvenile Court in 2016 – find out what makes the program unique and why other counties have since been inspired to implement this model in their communities!
