Through the Foster Lens – Tacoma

It is an honor to bring our community together this fall to showcase photographs that reflect the experiences of kids and adults who have been impacted by foster care, as seen through their eyes. These exhibits were inspired by the work of Amara’s STAR Youth Program, which launched this summer. Through our summer camps and a partnership with Youth In Focus, participants explored identity development and skill-building through photography workshops and play.

Come enjoy hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and a powerful display of art from our community. There will be an ask to support Amara’s overall programming with kids and families.
