Family Resource Center - Amara

Family Resource Center

Amara’s Family Resource Center provides families with immediate help such as food*, diapers, and baby necessities, as well as with connections to other resources such as healthcare, transportation, and parenting supports. Families do not need to “qualify” or prove “eligibility” to get the help they need at our Resource Center. Download our flier for more information. Descarga nuestro folleto para más información.

Amara’s Family Resource Center will provide concrete goods to families to help meet various needs for family stability and child safety. A Concrete Goods Referral can be submitted directly from individuals, Amara programs, or other community agencies. Families who reside in Pierce County or are involved in an Amara program are eligible to submit a request.

A limited number of funds are available each month from October 2023 – September 2024. Once funds for a month are exhausted, requests will close and the Request Form will be available again the following month. Request forms will be processed in the order they are received. Families will not need to reapply if funds are exhausted in the month they apply. They will be at the top of the list when the request form opens again the following month. Assistance families can receive through concrete goods are subject to available funding, and we cannot guarantee availability of items.

Please read these instructions before filling out our request form.
